European Luscombe Tour 2021
Enstone to Lane Farm
June 14 to 18, 2021
Once again, Nigel Barratt, a Luscombe pilot and European Luscombes social media manager, announced the year’s European Luscombe Tour. Originally planned as a six-day event, it was reduced to five days, visiting mostly central English airfields. The tour began at Enstone in the Cotswolds, where around five Luscombes gathered before heading to Sywell. A prior event at Sywell delayed their cross-country flight until early evening. For the remainder of the week, the tour continued to East Kirkby, Beverley, Tatenhill, and finally Lane Farm near Painscastle in South Wales.
