European Luscombe Fly-In
Farway Common

| Some of the European Luscombes organised a fly-in to Farway Common, a private airfield in East Devon, in support of its new owner who had reopened the site earlier this year. The airfield has two runways, oriented north/south and east/west, each 550 metres long, along with a large parking area. A quick walk around the parking area revealed that only a small number of Luscombes had arrived, while others who had planned to attend were deterred by adverse weather elsewhere in the country.
