Typhoon operations
The runways and taxiways throught RAF Lossiemouth are being upgraded. At the time of my visit the main runway (23/05) was closed leaving the shorter cross runway (28/10) the only one in use. The centre section was about to be re-surfaced and the Typhoons were to move to Kinloss Barracks and the QRA jets to deploy to Leuchars. |
