Stará Aerovka (Letecké Muzeum Kbely)

The premises of Stará Aerovka belonging to the Military History Institute (governed by the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic) are situated at the nearby Prague Letnany Airport. (5 minute walk from the Kbely Aviation Museum).
There are two hangars and admission is free but tripods are not allowed. A dozen or so aircraft are displayed here in two hangars. Other aircraft are in storage and not on public display.

Note: The Czechoslovak Air Force (Ceskoslovenské Vojenské Letectvo) ceased to exist on December 31, 1992 becoming the Czech Air Force (Vzdušné síly) when Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Left to right: Nord NC.702 Martinet (307) it is portrayed as a Aero C-3A (Siebel Si 204D) marked as 'LB-05' of the Czechoslovak Air Force (Ceskoslovenské Vojenské Letectvo). The Siebel Si 204 is a German designed small twin-engined transport and trainer aircraft developed as a civil transport aircraft in 1938, and later produced for the Luftwaffe. Aero Vysocany built examples in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia from 1943. Final production was 541 by January 1945. SNCAC (Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Centre) in France also produced 168 Si 204 in France from 1944. Total production by January 1945 was 1,216. Post War in France SNCAC produced the NC.701 Martinet and NC.702 Martinet and in Czechoslovakia, Aero Vodochody produced 179 Si 204D.
Since 1976 the museum started collecting parts to complete a C-3A. In 2000 they acquired an ex Armee de l'Air SNCAC NC.702 Martinet II from France. The final restoration is marked 'LB-05' of the Czechoslovak Air Force (Ceskoslovenské Vojenské Letectvo).

Aero C-3B (Siebel Si 204E) (409) fuselage built in 1946 it flew for the Czechoslovak Air Force (Ceskoslovenské Vojenské Letectvo) Academy and Air Regiments 25 and 27. Retired in the mid 1950s it was to be scrapped until it was privately purchased for use as a garden house. Discovered by air enthusiasts in around 2000 it spent years under restoration before it was acquired by the Museum in 2015.
