Solo Türk

Solo Türk is a single-aircraft aerobatic demonstration team of the Turkish Air Force with 3 AJÜ, 132 Filo based at Konya. They fly a special painted Lockheed Martin F-16C Fighting Falcon.
Solo Türk performed its first display to the Turkish nation on the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Air Force in 2011. Since then seven pilots have been selected to fly. The current team of eleven consists; two pilots and nine maintenance personnel plus two press and public relations officers. Solo Türk have flown over 200 display flights in 17 countries since the team was formed. To qualify as a Solo Türk pilot they must already have 1,000 hours on the F-16 before starting around three months of aerobatic display training. Pilots then fly one or two sorties every week to stay current.
