12 Squadron - RAF Marham
'Foxes'
Aviation Photography RAF 12 Squadron 12(Bomber) Squadron is the lead unit for Air Launched Anti-Radiation Missile (ALARM) for the Suppression of Enemy Air Defence (SEAD). It is a defensive missile used to destroy Surface to Air Missiles (SAM) sites.

The Squadron disbanded on March 31, 2014 at RAF Lossiemouth, some of its Tornados will transfer to XV Squadron other will go to RAF Leeming for reduction to produce (RTP).

On January 9, 2015 12 Squadron reformed at RAF Marham with the Tornado once again until they finally disbanded on February 14, 2018. The squadron reformed on July 24, 2018 as a joint RAF/Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) flying the Eurofighter Typhoon.

It is inscribed 'Leads the Field, 1915 - 2014' and was flying down from Lossiemouth as 'Lossie 09' on it's final flight to Leeming where it will be 'reduced to produce' (RTP). Note it was also flying clean with no drop tanks or other stores in April 2014.
