'Sunset Shoot'

Opportunities for photography at sunset are not easily achieved, most of the year sunsets are too late for flying so it is during the winter months when most sunset shots are made. Planning in advance is essential check the weather forecast, too much or too little cloud can spoil the shot. Sunsets don't last so long so, must get your equipment (tripod, flash) ready and you must be in position in good time to catch the moment. The camera settings are also important if shadow detail is retained and highlights are not burnt out. Once you have the shots careful post processing is required to bring out the wonderful colours using curves rather than colour satuation.
